Exodus 13:11

When the Lord brings you ¹  into the land of the Canaanites, ²  as he swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it ³  to you,

"After the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites and gives it to you, as he promised on oath to you and your forefathers,

"Now when the LORD brings you to the land of the Canaanite, as He swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,

And remember these instructions when the LORD brings you into the land he swore to give your ancestors long ago, the land where the Canaanites are now living.

"When GOD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he promised you and your fathers, and turns it over to you,

And when the Lord takes you into the land of Canaan, as he made his oath to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,

"When the LORD has brought you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and your ancestors, and has given it to you,

"And it shall be, when the LORD brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as He swore to you and your fathers, and gives it to you,

When the Lord brings you ¹  into the land of the Canaanites, ²  as he swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it ³  to you,

¹ tn Heb “and it will be when Yahweh brings (will bring) you.”

² sn The name “the Canaanite” (and so collective for “Canaanites”) is occasionally used to summarize all the list of Canaanitish tribes that lived in the land.

³ tn The verb וּנְתָנָהּ (unÿtanah) is the Qal perfect with the vav (ו) consecutive; this is in sequence to the preceding verb, and forms part of the protasis, the temporal clause. The main clause is the instruction in the next verse.
