Deuteronomy 22:27

for the man ¹  met her in the field and the engaged woman cried out, but there was no one to rescue her.

for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no-one to rescue her.

Since the man raped her out in the country, it must be assumed that she screamed, but there was no one to rescue her.

when the engaged girl yelled out for help, there was no one around to hear or help her.

For he came across her in the open country, and there was no one to come to the help of the virgin in answer to her cry.

Since he found her in the open country, the engaged woman may have cried for help, but there was no one to rescue her.
