According to the genealogical records of their families, they had 36,000 warriors available for battle, for they had numerous wives and sons. ¹ 

According to their family genealogy, they had 36,000 men ready for battle, for they had many wives and children.

With them by their generations according to their fathers’ households were 36,000 troops of the army for war, for they had many wives and sons.

The total number of men available for military service among their descendants was 36,000, for all five of them had many wives and many sons.
