Numbers 31:26

“You and Eleazar the priest, and all the family leaders of the community, take the sum ¹  of the plunder that was captured, both people and animals.

"You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the community are to count all the people and animals that were captured.

"You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation take a count of the booty that was captured, both of man and of animal;

"You and Eleazar the priest and the family leaders of each tribe are to make a list of all the plunder taken in the battle, including the people and animals.

"I want you and Eleazar the priest and the family leaders in the community to count the captives, people and animals.

Get an account of everything which was taken in the war, of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of families of the people:

"You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the ancestral houses of the congregation make an inventory of the booty captured, both human and animal.

"Count up the plunder that was taken––of man and beast––you and Eleazar the priest and the chief fathers of the congregation;

“You and Eleazar the priest, and all the family leaders of the community, take the sum ¹  of the plunder that was captured, both people and animals.

¹ tn The idiom here is “take up the head,” meaning take a census, or count the totals.
