Deuteronomy 27:20

‘Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with ¹  his father’s former wife, ²  for he dishonors his father.’ ³  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

"Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he dishonours his father’s bed." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s skirt.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

‘Cursed is anyone who has sexual intercourse with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father.’ And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’

GOD's curse on anyone who has sex with his father's wife; he has violated the woman who belongs to his father. All respond: [Yes. Absolutely.]

Cursed is he who has sex relations with his father’s wife, for he has put shame on his father. And let all the people say, So be it.

"Cursed be anyone who lies with his father’s wife, because he has violated his father’s rights." All the people shall say, "Amen!"

‘Cursed is the one who lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s bed.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’

‘Cursed is the one who has sexual relations with ¹  his father’s former wife, ²  for he dishonors his father.’ ³  Then all the people will say, ‘Amen!’

¹ tn Heb “who lies with” (so NASB, NRSV); also in vv. 22, 23. This is a Hebrew idiom for having sexual relations (cf. NIV “who sleeps with”; NLT “who has sexual intercourse with”).
