Job 14:11

As ¹  water disappears from the sea, ²  or a river drains away and dries up,

As water disappears from the sea or a river bed becomes parched and dry,

" As water evaporates from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dried up,

As water evaporates from a lake and as a river disappears in drought,

Like lakes and rivers that have dried up, parched reminders of what once was,

The waters go from a pool, and a river becomes waste and dry;

As waters fail from a lake, and a river wastes away and dries up,

As water disappears from the sea, And a river becomes parched and dries up,

As ¹  water disappears from the sea, ²  or a river drains away and dries up,
