Deuteronomy 4:30

In your distress when all these things happen to you in the latter days, ¹  if you return to the Lord your God and obey him ² 

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him.

"When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.

"When those bitter days have come upon you far in the future, you will finally return to the LORD your God and listen to what he tells you.

When troubles come and all these awful things happen to you, in future days you will come back to GOD, your God, and listen obediently to what he says.

When you are in trouble and all these things have come on you, if, in the future, you are turned again to the Lord your God, and give ear to his voice:

In your distress, when all these things have happened to you in time to come, you will return to the LORD your God and heed him.

"When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice

¹ sn The phrase is not used here in a technical sense for the eschaton, but rather refers to a future time when Israel will be punished for its sin and experience exile. See Deut 31:29.

² tn Heb “hear his voice.” The expression is an idiom meaning “obey,” occurring in Deut 8:20; 9:23; 13:18; 21:18, 20; 26:14, 17; 27:10; 28:1-2, 15, 45, 62; 30:2, 8, 10, 20.
