Numbers 35:16

“But if he hits someone with an iron tool so that he dies, ¹  he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

"‘If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.

‘But if he struck him down with an iron object, so that he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.

"‘But if someone strikes and kills another person with a piece of iron, it must be presumed to be murder, and the murderer must be executed.

"But if the killer has used an iron object, that's just plain murder; he's obviously a murderer and must be put to death.

But if a man gives another man a blow with an iron instrument, causing his death, he is a taker of life and is certainly to be put to death.

But anyone who strikes another with an iron object, and death ensues, is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.

‘But if he strikes him with an iron implement, so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.

¹ tn the verb is the preterite of “die.” The sentence has :“if…he strikes him and he dies.” The vav (ו) consecutive is showing the natural result of the blow.
