Psalms 69:2

I sink into the deep mire where there is no solid ground; ¹  I am in ²  deep water, and the current overpowers me.

I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me.

I have sunk in deep mire, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me.

Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can’t find a foothold to stand on. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me.

Quicksand under me, swamp water over me; I'm going down for the third time.

My feet are deep in the soft earth, where there is no support; I have come into deep waters, the waves are flowing over me.

I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me.

I sink in deep mire, Where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters, Where the floods overflow me.

I sink into the deep mire where there is no solid ground; ¹  I am in ²  deep water, and the current overpowers me.
