Psalms 50:11

I keep track of ¹  every bird in the hills, and the insects ²  of the field are mine.

I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine.

"I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine.

Every bird of the mountains and all the animals of the field belong to me.

I know every mountain bird by name; the scampering field mice are my friends.

I see all the birds of the mountains, and the beasts of the field are mine.

I know all the birds of the air, and all that moves in the field is mine.

I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.

I keep track of ¹  every bird in the hills, and the insects ²  of the field are mine.

² tn The precise referent of the Hebrew word, which occurs only here and in Ps 80:13, is uncertain. Aramaic, Arabic and Akkadian cognates refer to insects, such as locusts or crickets.
