Numbers 26:54

To a larger group you will give a larger inheritance, ¹  and to a smaller group you will give a smaller inheritance. ²  To each one its inheritance must be given according to the number of people in it. ³ 

To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one; each is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those listed.

"To the larger group you shall increase their inheritance, and to the smaller group you shall diminish their inheritance; each shall be given their inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.

Give the larger tribes more land and the smaller tribes less land, each group’s inheritance reflecting the size of its population.

A larger group gets a larger inheritance; a smaller group gets a smaller inheritance--each gets its inheritance based on the population count.

To those families who are more in number, give a greater heritage; to those who are less in number, a smaller part: to every one let the heritage be given in relation to the number in his family.

To a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance; every tribe shall be given its inheritance according to its enrollment.

³ tn Heb “according to those that were numbered of him,” meaning, in accordance with the number of people in his clan.
