Isaiah 48:19

Your descendants would have been as numerous as sand, ¹  and your children ²  like its granules. Their name would not have been cut off and eliminated from my presence. ³ 

Your descendants would have been like the sand, your children like its numberless grains; their name would never be cut off nor destroyed from before me."

Then you would have become as numerous as the sands along the seashore––too many to count! There would have been no need for your destruction."

Children and grandchildren are like sand, your progeny like grains of sand. There would be no end of them, no danger of losing touch with me."

Your seed would have been like the sand, and your offspring like the dust: your name would not be cut off or come to an end before me.
