Isaiah 1:31

The powerful will be like ¹  a thread of yarn, their deeds like a spark; both will burn together, and no one will put out the fire.

The mighty man will become tinder and his work a spark; both will burn together, with no-one to quench the fire."

The strong man will become tinder, His work also a spark. Thus they shall both burn together And there will be none to quench them.

The strongest among you will disappear like burning straw. Your evil deeds are the spark that will set the straw on fire, and no one will be able to put it out.

'The Big Man' will turn out to be dead bark and twigs, and his 'work,' the spark that starts the fire That exposes man and work both as nothing but cinders and smoke."

And the strong will be as food for the fire, and his work as a flame; and they will be burned together, with no one to put out the fire.

The strong shall become like tinder, and their work like a spark; they and their work shall burn together, with no one to quench them.
