Ezekiel 24:7

For her blood was in it; she poured it on an exposed rock; she did not pour it on the ground to cover it up with dust.

"‘For the blood she shed is in her midst: She poured it on the bare rock; she did not pour it on the ground, where the dust would cover it.

"For her blood is in her midst; She placed it on the bare rock; She did not pour it on the ground To cover it with dust.

for her wickedness is evident to all. She murders boldly, leaving blood on the rocks for all to see. She doesn’t even try to cover it!

"'The blood from murders has stained the whole city; Blood runs bold on the street stones, with no one bothering to wash it off--

For her blood is in her; she has put it on the open rock not draining it on to the earth so that it might be covered with dust;
