2 Kings 22:2

He did what the Lord approved ¹  and followed in his ancestor David’s footsteps; ²  he did not deviate to the right or the left.

He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

He did right in the sight of the LORD and walked in all the way of his father David, nor did he turn aside to the right or to the left.

He did what was pleasing in the LORD’s sight and followed the example of his ancestor David. He did not turn aside from doing what was right.

He lived the way GOD wanted. He kept straight on the path blazed by his ancestor David, not one step to either left or right.

He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of David his father, without turning to the right hand or to the left.
