1 Kings 1:11

Nathan said to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, “Has it been reported to you ¹  that Haggith’s son Adonijah has become king behind our master David’s back? ² 

Then Nathan asked Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, "Have you not heard that Adonijah, the son of Haggith, has become king without our lord David’s knowing it?

Then Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, "Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it?

Then Nathan the prophet went to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, and asked her, "Did you realize that Haggith’s son, Adonijah, has made himself king and that our lord David doesn’t even know about it?

Nathan went to Bathsheba, Solomon's mother, "Did you know that Adonijah, Haggith's son, has taken over as king, and our master David doesn't know a thing about it?

Then Nathan said to Bath-sheba, the mother of Solomon, Has it not come to your ears that Adonijah, the son of Haggith, has made himself king without the knowledge of David our lord?

Then Nathan said to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, "Have you not heard that Adonijah son of Haggith has become king and our lord David does not know it?

So Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, "Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it ?

Nathan said to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother, “Has it been reported to you ¹  that Haggith’s son Adonijah has become king behind our master David’s back? ² 

¹ tn Heb “Have you not heard?”

² tn Heb “and our master David does not know.”
