1 Kings 13:17

For the Lord gave me strict orders, ¹  ‘Do not eat or drink ²  there; do not go back the way you came.’”

I have been told by the word of the LORD: ‘You must not eat bread or drink water there or return by the way you came.’"

"For a command came to me by the word of the LORD, ‘You shall eat no bread, nor drink water there; do not return by going the way which you came.’"

For the LORD gave me this command: ‘You must not eat any food or drink any water while you are there, and do not return to Judah by the same way you came.’"

I'm under strict orders from GOD: 'Don't eat a crumb; don't drink a drop; and don't come back the way you came.'"

For the Lord said to me, You are not to take food or water there, or go back again by the way you came.
