Psalms 13:1

For the music director; a psalm of David. How long, Lord, will you continue to ignore me? ²  How long will you pay no attention to me? ³ 

For the director of music. A psalm of David. How long, O LORD? Will you forget me for ever? How long will you hide your face from me?

Long enough, GOD--you've ignored me long enough. I've looked at the back of your head long enough.

<To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> Will you for ever put me out of your memory, O Lord? will your face for ever be turned away from me?

How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
