Jeremiah 32:25

The city is sure to fall into the hands of the Babylonians. ¹  Yet, in spite of this, ²  you, Lord God, ³  have said to me, “Buy that field with silver and have the transaction legally witnessed.”’” ⁴ 

And though the city will be handed over to the Babylonians, you, O Sovereign LORD, say to me, ‘Buy the field with silver and have the transaction witnessed.’"

‘You have said to me, O Lord GOD, "Buy for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses"—although the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’"

And yet, O Sovereign LORD, you have told me to buy the field––paying good money for it before these witnesses––even though the city will soon belong to the Babylonians."

And yet you, GOD, the Master, even though it is certain that the city will be turned over to the Babylonians, also told me, Buy the field. Pay for it in cash. And make sure there are witnesses.'"

And you have said to me, Give the money to get yourself a property, and have the business witnessed; though the town is given into the hands of the Chaldaeans.

Yet you, O Lord GOD, have said to me, "Buy the field for money and get witnesses" —though the city has been given into the hands of the Chaldeans.

‘And You have said to me, O Lord GOD, "Buy the field for money, and take witnesses"! ––yet the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’"
