Ezekiel 9:10

But as for me, my eye will not pity them nor will I spare ¹  them; I hereby repay them for what they have done.” ² 

So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done."

"But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads."

So I will not spare them or have any pity on them. I will fully repay them for all they have done."

Well, I do see, and I'm not feeling sorry for any of them. They're going to pay for what they've done."

And as for me, my eye will not have mercy, and I will have no pity, but I will send the punishment of their ways on their heads.

¹ tn The meaning of the Hebrew term is primarily emotional: “to pity,” which in context implies an action, as in being moved by pity in order to spare them from the horror of their punishment.

² tn Heb “their way on their head I have placed.” The same expression occurs in 1 Kgs 8:32; Ezek 11:21; 16:43; 22:31.
