Acts 16:28

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

But Paul shouted, "Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!"

But Paul cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!"

But Paul shouted to him, "Don’t do it! We are all here!"

when Paul stopped him: "Don't do that! We're all still here! Nobody's run away!"

But Paul said in a loud voice, Do yourself no damage, for we are all here.

But Paul shouted in a loud voice, "Do not harm yourself, for we are all here."

But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here."

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

¹ tn Grk “But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying.” The dative phrase μεγάλῃ φωνῇ (megalh fwnh) has been simplified as an English adverb (“loudly”), and the participle λέγων (legwn) has not been translated since it is redundant in English.

² sn Do not harm yourself. Again the irony is that Paul is the agent through whom the jailer is spared.
