Psalms 115:7

hands, but cannot touch, feet, but cannot walk. They cannot even clear their throats. ¹ 

they have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but they cannot walk; nor can they utter a sound with their throats.

They have hands, but they cannot feel; They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with their throat.

or feel with their hands, or walk with their feet, or utter sounds with their throats!

Hands that can't grasp, feet that can't walk or run, throats that never utter a sound.

They have hands without feeling, and feet without power of walking; and no sound comes from their throat.

They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; they make no sound in their throats.

They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat.

hands, but cannot touch, feet, but cannot walk. They cannot even clear their throats. ¹ 

¹ tn Heb “they cannot mutter in their throats.” Verse 5a refers to speaking, v. 7c to inarticulate sounds made in the throat (see M. Dahood, Psalms [AB], 3:140-41).
