Numbers 27:8

And you must tell the Israelites, ‘If a man dies ¹  and has no son, then you must transfer his inheritance to his daughter;

"Say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and leaves no son, give his inheritance over to his daughter.

"Further, you shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘If a man dies and has no son, then you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter.

Moreover announce this to the people of Israel: ‘If a man dies and has no sons, then give his inheritance to his daughters.

"Then tell the People of Israel, If a man dies and leaves no son, give his inheritance to his daughter.

And say to the children of Israel, If a man has no son at the time of his death, let his heritage go to his daughter.

You shall also say to the Israelites, "If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall pass his inheritance on to his daughter.

"And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.

And you must tell the Israelites, ‘If a man dies ¹  and has no son, then you must transfer his inheritance to his daughter;

¹ tn Heb “a man, if he dies.”
