Numbers 18:22

No longer may the Israelites approach the tent of meeting, or else they will bear their sin ¹  and die.

From now on the Israelites must not go near the Tent of Meeting, or they will bear the consequences of their sin and will die.

"The sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die.

"From now on, Israelites other than the priests and Levites are to stay away from the Tabernacle. If they come too near, they will be judged guilty and die.

Starting now, the rest of the People of Israel cannot wander in and out of the Tent of Meeting; they'll be penalized for their sin and the penalty is death.

In future the children of Israel are not to come near the Tent of meeting, so that death may not come to them because of sin.

From now on the Israelites shall no longer approach the tent of meeting, or else they will incur guilt and die.

"Hereafter the children of Israel shall not come near the tabernacle of meeting, lest they bear sin and die.

¹ tn The Hebrew text uses the infinitive construct of the verb “to bear” with the lamed (ל) preposition to express the result of such an action. “To bear their sin” would mean that they would have to suffer the consequences of their sin.
