John 5:9

Immediately the man was healed, ¹  and he picked up his mat ²  and started walking. (Now that day was a Sabbath.) ³ 

At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath,

Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.

Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up the mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath day.

The man was healed on the spot. He picked up his bedroll and walked off. That day happened to be the Sabbath.

And the man became well straight away, and took up his bed and went. Now that day was the Sabbath.

At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk. Now that day was a sabbath.

And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

Immediately the man was healed, ¹  and he picked up his mat ²  and started walking. (Now that day was a Sabbath.) ³
