John 13:25

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved ¹  leaned back against Jesus’ chest and asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?"

He, leaning back thus on Jesus’ bosom, *said to Him, "Lord, who is it?"

Leaning toward Jesus, he asked, "Lord, who is it?"

So, being the closest, he said, "Master, who?"

He, then, resting his head on Jesus’ breast, said to him, Lord, who is it?

So while reclining next to Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?"

Then, leaning back on Jesus’ breast, he said to Him, "Lord, who is it?"

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved ¹  leaned back against Jesus’ chest and asked him, “Lord, who is it?”

¹ tn Grk “he”; the referent (the disciple Jesus loved) has been specified in the translation for clarity.
