Isaiah 7:21

At that time ¹  a man will keep alive a young cow from the herd and a couple of goats.

In that day, a man will keep alive a young cow and two goats.

Now in that day a man may keep alive a heifer and a pair of sheep;

When they finally stop plundering, a farmer will be fortunate to have a cow and two sheep left.

It will be a time when survivors will count themselves lucky to have a cow and a couple of sheep.

And it will be in that day that a man will give food to a young cow and two sheep;

On that day one will keep alive a young cow and two sheep,

It shall be in that day That a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep;

At that time ¹  a man will keep alive a young cow from the herd and a couple of goats.

¹ tn Heb “in that day.” The verb that introduces this verse serves as a discourse particle and is untranslated; see note on “in the future” in 2:2.
