Isaiah 5:15

Men will be humiliated, they will be brought low; the proud will be brought low. ¹ 

So man will be brought low and mankind humbled, the eyes of the arrogant humbled.

So the common man will be humbled and the man of importance abased, The eyes of the proud also will be abased.

In that day the arrogant will be brought down to the dust; the proud will be humbled.

The down-and-out on a par with the high-and-mighty, Windbag boasters crumpled, flaccid as a punctured bladder.

And the poor man’s head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face, and the eyes of pride are put to shame:

People are bowed down, everyone is brought low, and the eyes of the haughty are humbled.

People shall be brought down, Each man shall be humbled, And the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled.

Men will be humiliated, they will be brought low; the proud will be brought low. ¹
