Ezekiel 33:4

but there is one who hears the sound of the trumpet yet does not heed the warning. Then the sword comes and sweeps him away. He will be responsible for his own death. ¹ 

then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head.

then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.

Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action––well, it is their own fault if they die.

then if anyone hears the sound of the trumpet and ignores it and war comes and takes him off, it's his own fault.

Then anyone who, hearing the sound of the horn, does not take note of it, will himself be responsible for his death, if the sword comes and takes him away.
