Exodus 39:43

Moses inspected ¹  all the work – and ²  they had done it just as the Lord had commanded – they had done it exactly – and Moses blessed them. ³ 

Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.

And Moses examined all the work and behold, they had done it; just as the LORD had commanded, this they had done. So Moses blessed them.

Moses inspected all their work and blessed them because it had been done as the LORD had commanded him.

Moses saw that they had done all the work and done it exactly as GOD had commanded. Moses blessed them.

Then Moses, when he saw all their work and saw that they had done everything as the Lord had said, gave them his blessing.

When Moses saw that they had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded, he blessed them.

Then Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the LORD had commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses blessed them.

² tn The deictic particle draws attention to what he saw in such a way as to give the reader Moses’ point of view and a sense of his pleasure: “and behold, they…”

³ sn The situation and wording in Exod 39:43 are reminiscent of Gen 1:28 and 31, with the motifs of blessing people and inspecting what has been made.
