Acts 27:23

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³ 

Last night an angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me

"For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me,

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me,

"Last night God's angel stood at my side, an angel of this God I serve,

For this night there came to my side an angel of the God who is my Master and whose servant I am,

For last night there stood by me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship,

"For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve,

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³ 

¹ tn Grk “of whom I am.” The relative clause with its possessive was translated following L&N 15.86 s.v. παρίσταμαι.

³ tn Or “stood by me.” BDAG 778 s.v. παρίστημι/παριστάνω 2.a.α states, “approach, come τινί (to) someone…Ac 9:39; 27:23.”
