Acts 20:20

You know that I did not hold back from proclaiming ¹  to you anything that would be helpful, ²  and from teaching you publicly ³  and from house to house,

You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.

how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,

Yet I never shrank from telling you the truth, either publicly or in your homes.

I didn't skimp or trim in any way. Every truth and encouragement that could have made a difference to you, you got. I taught you out in public and I taught you in your homes,

And how I kept back nothing which might be of profit to you, teaching you publicly and privately,

I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house,
