Acts 1:15

In those days ¹  Peter stood up among the believers ²  (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty people) and said,

In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty)

At this time Peter stood up in the midst of the brethren (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty persons was there together), and said,

During this time, on a day when about 120 believers were present, Peter stood up and addressed them as follows:

During this time, Peter stood up in the company--there were about one hundred twenty of them in the room at the time--

And in those days Peter got up among the brothers (there were about one hundred and twenty of them), and said,

In those days Peter stood up among the believers (together the crowd numbered about one hundred twenty persons) and said,

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said,

In those days ¹  Peter stood up among the believers ²  (a gathering of about one hundred and twenty people) and said,

¹ tn Grk “And in those days.” Because of the difference between Greek style, which often begins sentences or clauses with “and,” and English style, which generally does not, καί (kai) has not been translated here.

² tn Or “brethren” (but the term includes both male and female believers present in this gathering, as indicated by those named in vv. 13-14).
