2 Samuel 11:8

Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your home and relax.” ¹  When Uriah left the palace, the king sent a gift to him. ² 

Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house and wash your feet." So Uriah left the palace, and a gift from the king was sent after him.

Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house, and wash your feet." And Uriah went out of the king’s house, and a present from the king was sent out after him.

Then he told Uriah, "Go on home and relax." David even sent a gift to Uriah after he had left the palace.

Then he said to Uriah, "Go home. Have a refreshing bath and a good night's rest." After Uriah left the palace, an informant of the king was sent after him.

And David said to Uriah, Go down to your house and let your feet be washed. And Uriah went away from the king’s house, and an offering from the king was sent after him.

Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house, and wash your feet." Uriah went out of the king’s house, and there followed him a present from the king.

And David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house and wash your feet." So Uriah departed from the king’s house, and a gift of food from the king followed him.

Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your home and relax.” ¹  When Uriah left the palace, the king sent a gift to him. ² 

¹ tn Heb “and wash your feet.”

² tn Heb “and there went out after him the gift of the king.”
