2 Chronicles 34:2

He did what the Lord approved ¹  and followed in his ancestor David’s footsteps; ²  he did not deviate to the right or the left.

He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

He did right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of his father David and did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

He did what was pleasing in the LORD’s sight and followed the example of his ancestor David. He did not turn aside from doing what was right.

He behaved well before GOD. He kept straight on the path blazed by his ancestor David, not one step to the left or right.

And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of his father David, without turning to the right hand or to the left.
