1 Samuel 9:3

The donkeys of Saul’s father Kish wandered off, ¹  so Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go ²  look for the donkeys.” ³ 

Now the donkeys belonging to Saul’s father Kish were lost, and Kish said to his son Saul, "Take one of the servants with you and go and look for the donkeys."

Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. So Kish said to his son Saul, "Take now with you one of the servants, and arise, go search for the donkeys."

One day Kish’s donkeys strayed away, and he told Saul, "Take a servant with you, and go look for them."

Some of Kish's donkeys got lost. Kish said to his son, "Saul, take one of the servants with you and go look for the donkeys."

Now the asses of Saul’s father Kish had gone wandering away. And Kish said to his son Saul, Take one of the servants with you, and get up and go in search of the asses.

Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, had strayed. So Kish said to his son Saul, "Take one of the boys with you; go and look for the donkeys."

Now the donkeys of Kish, Saul’s father, were lost. And Kish said to his son Saul, "Please, take one of the servants with you, and arise, go and look for the donkeys."

The donkeys of Saul’s father Kish wandered off, ¹  so Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go ²  look for the donkeys.” ³ 

¹ tn Heb “became lost.”

² tn Heb “and arise, go.”

³ tc The Syriac Peshitta includes the following words: “So Saul arose and went out. He took with him one of the boys and went out to look for his father’s donkeys.”
