1 Samuel 6:10

So the men did as instructed. ¹  They took two cows that had calves and harnessed them to a cart; they also removed their calves to their stalls.

So they did this. They took two such cows and hitched them to the cart and penned up their calves.

Then the men did so, and took two milch cows and hitched them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home.

So these instructions were carried out. Two cows with newborn calves were hitched to the cart, and their calves were shut up in a pen.

So that's what they did: They hitched two cows to the cart, put their calves in the barn,
