1 Chronicles 13:3

Let’s move the ark of our God back here, ¹  for we did not seek his will ²  throughout Saul’s reign.” ³ 

Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not enquire of it during the reign of Saul."

and let us bring back the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek it in the days of Saul."

It is time to bring back the Ark of our God, for we neglected it during the reign of Saul."

And let's bring the Chest of our God back--the Chest that was out of sight, out of mind during the days of Saul."

And let us get back for ourselves the ark of our God: for in the days of Saul we did not go to it for directions.

Then let us bring again the ark of our God to us; for we did not turn to it in the days of Saul."

"and let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we have not inquired at it since the days of Saul."

Let’s move the ark of our God back here, ¹  for we did not seek his will ²  throughout Saul’s reign.” ³ 

¹ tn Heb “to us.”

² tn Heb “him.” In this case, seeking God’s will is what is implied.

³ tn Heb “in the days of Saul.”
