Psalms 44:11

You handed us ¹  over like sheep to be eaten; you scattered us among the nations.

You gave us up to be devoured like sheep and have scattered us among the nations.

You give us as sheep to be eaten And have scattered us among the nations.

You have treated us like sheep waiting to be slaughtered; you have scattered us among the nations.

You delivered us as sheep to the butcher, you scattered us to the four winds.

You have made us like sheep which are taken for meat; we are put to flight among the nations.

You have made us like sheep for slaughter, and have scattered us among the nations.

You have given us up like sheep intended for food, And have scattered us among the nations.

You handed us ¹  over like sheep to be eaten; you scattered us among the nations.
