Psalms 108:5

Rise up ¹  above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth! ² 

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth.

Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth.

Soar high in the skies, O God! Cover the whole earth with your glory!

Be lifted up, O God, higher than the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth;

Rise up ¹  above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth! ² 

¹ tn Or “be exalted.”

² tn Heb “over all the earth [be] your splendor.” Though no verb appears, the tone of the statement is a prayer or wish. (Note the imperative form in the preceding line.)
