Psalms 102:12

But you, O Lord, rule forever, ¹  and your reputation endures. ² 

But you, O LORD, sit enthroned for ever; your renown endures through all generations.

But You, O LORD, abide forever, And Your name to all generations.

But you, O LORD, will rule forever. Your fame will endure to every generation.

Yet you, GOD, are sovereign still, always and ever sovereign.

But you, O Lord, are eternal; and your name will never come to an end.

But you, O LORD, are enthroned forever; your name endures to all generations.

But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, And the remembrance of Your name to all generations.

But you, O Lord, rule forever, ¹  and your reputation endures. ² 

¹ tn Heb “sit” (i.e., sit enthroned, see Ps 9:7). The imperfect verbal form highlights the generalization.

² tn Heb “and your remembrance [is] for a generation and a generation.”
