Matthew 26:25

Then ¹  Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus ²  replied, “You have said it yourself.”

Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" Jesus answered, "Yes, it is you."

And Judas, who was betraying Him, said, "Surely it is not I, Rabbi?" Jesus *said to him, "You have said it yourself."

Judas, the one who would betray him, also asked, "Teacher, I’m not the one, am I?" And Jesus told him, "You have said it yourself."

Then Judas, already turned traitor, said, "It isn't me, is it, Rabbi?" Jesus said, "Don't play games with me, Judas."

And Judas, who was false to him, made answer and said, Is it I, Master? He says to him, Yes.

Judas, who betrayed him, said, "Surely not I, Rabbi?" He replied, "You have said so."

Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?" He said to him, "You have said it."

Then ¹  Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus ²  replied, “You have said it yourself.”

¹ tn Grk “answering, Judas.” This is somewhat redundant and has been simplified in the translation. Here δέ (de) has been translated as “then” to reflect the sequence of events in the narrative.

² tn Grk “he”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.
