Matthew 12:3

He ¹  said to them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –

He answered, "Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

But He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions,

But Jesus said to them, "Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what King David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus said, "Really? Didn't you ever read what David and his companions did when they were hungry,

But he said to them, Have you no knowledge of what David did when he had need of food, and those who were with him?

He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

But He said to them, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:
