Luke 22:51

But Jesus said, ¹  “Enough of this!” And he touched the man’s ²  ear and healed ³  him.

But Jesus answered, "No more of this!" And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

But Jesus answered and said, "Stop! No more of this." And He touched his ear and healed him.

But Jesus said, "Don’t resist anymore." And he touched the place where the man’s ear had been and healed him.

Jesus said, "Let them be. Even in this." Then, touching the servant's ear, he healed him.

But Jesus, answering, said, Put up with this, at least. And touching his ear, he made it well.

But Jesus said, "No more of this!" And he touched his ear and healed him.

But Jesus answered and said, "Permit even this." And He touched his ear and healed him.

But Jesus said, ¹  “Enough of this!” And he touched the man’s ²  ear and healed ³  him.

¹ tn Grk “But answering, Jesus said.” This is redundant in contemporary English and has been simplified in the translation.

² tn Grk “his”; the referent (the slave of the high priest mentioned in the previous verse) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

³ sn When Jesus healed the man’s ear he showed grace even to those who hated him, following his own teaching (Luke 6:27-36).
