Job 23:11

My feet ¹  have followed ²  his steps closely; I have kept to his way and have not turned aside. ³ 

My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside.

"My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.

"For I have stayed in God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside.

I've followed him closely, my feet in his footprints, not once swerving from his way.

My feet have gone in his steps; I have kept in his way, without turning to one side or to the other.

³ tn The last clause, “and I have not turned aside,” functions adverbially in the sentence. The form אָט (’at) is a pausal form of אַתֶּה (’atteh), the Hiphil of נָטָה (natah, “stretch out”).
