Jeremiah 17:15

Listen to what they are saying to me. ¹  They are saying, “Where are the things the Lord threatens us with? Come on! Let’s see them happen!” ² 

They keep saying to me, "Where is the word of the LORD? Let it now be fulfilled!"

Look, they keep saying to me, "Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come now!"

People scoff at me and say, "What is this ‘message from the LORD’ you keep talking about? Why don’t your predictions come true?"

Listen to how they talk about me: "So where's this 'Word of GOD'? We'd like to see something happen!"

See, they say to me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.

See how they say to me, "Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come!"

Indeed they say to me, "Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come now!"

Listen to what they are saying to me. ¹  They are saying, “Where are the things the Lord threatens us with? Come on! Let’s see them happen!” ² 

¹ tn Heb “Behold, they are saying to me.”

² tn Heb “Where is the word of the Lord. Let it come [or come to pass] please.”
