Psalms 22:7

All who see me taunt ¹  me; they mock me ²  and shake their heads. ³ 

All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads:

All who see me sneer at me; They separate with the lip, they wag the head, saying,

Everyone who sees me mocks me. They sneer and shake their heads, saying,

Everyone pokes fun at me; they make faces at me, they shake their heads:

I am laughed at by all those who see me: pushing out their lips and shaking their heads they say,

All who see me mock at me; they make mouths at me, they shake their heads;

All those who see Me ridicule Me; They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying ,

All who see me taunt ¹  me; they mock me ²  and shake their heads. ³ 

¹ tn Or “scoff at, deride, mock.”

² tn Heb “they separate with a lip.” Apparently this refers to their verbal taunting.

³ sn Shake their heads. Apparently this refers to a taunting gesture. See also Job 16:4; Ps 109:25; Lam 2:15.
