Psalms 140:1

For the music director; a psalm of David. O Lord, rescue me from wicked men! ²  Protect me from violent men, ³ 

For the director of music. A psalm of David. Rescue me, O LORD, from evil men; protect me from men of violence,

<<For the choir director. A Psalm of David.>> Rescue me, O LORD, from evil men; Preserve me from violent men

<<For the choir director: A psalm of David.>> O LORD, rescue me from evil people. Preserve me from those who are violent,

GOD, get me out of here, away from this evil; protect me from these vicious people.

<To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> O Lord, take me out of the power of the evil man; keep me safe from the violent man:

Deliver me, O LORD, from evildoers; protect me from those who are violent,
