Psalms 106:27

make their descendants ¹  die ²  among the nations, and scatter them among foreign lands. ³ 

make their descendants fall among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.

And that He would cast their seed among the nations And scatter them in the lands.

Scattering their children hither and yon, strewing them all over the earth.

¹ tn Or “offspring”; Heb “seed.”

² tn Heb “and to cause their offspring to fall.” Some emend the verb to “scatter” to form tighter parallelism with the following line (cf. NRSV “disperse”).

³ tn Heb “among the lands.” The word “foreign” is supplied in the translation for clarification.
