Matthew 20:24

Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they were angry with the two brothers.

When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.

And hearing this, the ten became indignant with the two brothers.

When the ten other disciples heard what James and John had asked, they were indignant.

When the ten others heard about this, they lost their tempers, thoroughly disgusted with the two brothers.

And when it came to the ears of the ten, they were angry with the two brothers.

When the ten heard it, they were angry with the two brothers.

And when the ten heard it , they were greatly displeased with the two brothers.

Now ¹  when the other ten ²  heard this, ³  they were angry with the two brothers.

¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “now” to indicate the transition to a new topic.
